dressing up
Posted in Charlotte | No Comments »Charlotte is very particular about her clothes these days. She only wants to wear dresses and skirts that twirl, and only things that are pink and purple. Some of the things she refuses to wear are: jeans, black pants, white tights, and sneakers.
Here she is, wearing her Halloween costume over to Nana and Papa’s house. She was pretending to be a baby monkey.
Charlotte wore this pink tutu to school every day for three weeks until I gave in and bought her another one.
And this is Charlotte’s favorite thing to wear to bed and sometimes during the day too–her nightgown.

pre-Christmas 2011
Posted in Charlotte | No Comments »I have a lot of other Christmas pictures, but in all of them Charlotte is naked…naked tree decorating, naked present-opening, etc. She spends most of her time at home with no clothes on. Luckily it hasn’t been too cold this winter!
We went to see the Boston Pops before Christmas.
Charlotte picked out this dress at the store and was very excited to wear it.

what we’ve been up to
Posted in Charlotte | No Comments »Well, I’ve officially been terrible at updating this blog for the past few months. The combination of the holidays and a new job for me have kept all of us pretty busy.
It seems like a lot has happened with Charlotte in just a few months: she turned 3, learned to use the potty and got a big bed! She’s very into pretending these days–she switches between being Rapunzel, a baby penguin and a baby bunny pretty regularly.
Here she is waiting for the bus to go see Santa back in December. Charlotte loves taking the bus, maybe even more than taking the subway or train.
This is as close as she would get.

at fenway park
Posted in Charlotte | No Comments »In July we went to a “Futures at Fenway” game, where the Red Sox AA and AAA teams play a doubleheader. It’s much cheaper and less busy than a usual Red Sox game. (July was when things were looking very bright over at Fenway…sigh.)
Charlotte had her hat signed by Wally, the Sox mascot, and spent quite a bit of the game talking about Wally and looking for him in the crowd.
It’s a bit hard to see, but if you look at the outfield screen you can see that Brian and Charlotte were on it!
